About Caracol

Caracol is a Mexican Coastal Kitchen and the newest restaurant from Chef Hugo Ortega and Tracy Vaught. Located in the heart of Houston's Galleria area, Caracol's menus is a culinary tour along Mexico's 16 coastal states. One focal point of the main dining room is the oyster bar, where fresh Gulf and appellation oysters are shucked-to-order and served raw or cooked in Ortega's custom wood-burning, domed oven. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, daily happy hour from (5-7 pm), and for brunch Sundays from 11am to 2:30pm. We also have four private dining rooms. Learn More
